What Ever Happened To Pesto?
I have 5 basil plants in the ground right now and a couple more just about ready to transplant. Now this is going to be far more than a two person house and the neighbors can use.
I have a couple of store bought dried basil jars so I don't really need to dry it.
So I have to question... what ever happened to pesto? In the 80's pesto was everywhere. I used to like that stuff and have never made it since. Buying enough fresh bail at the supermarket today would cost you more than filling your car with gas.
With all of the basil I'll be having I'm going to make pesto and freeze the extra.
